“Eddie Lidyoff is a consummate professional. We have a large acreage property that we wanted to place a
pool and entertainment area that had to fit with what was already there, including a pond. There were elevational issues that had to be addressed and also existing deck work that had to fit with whatever he came up with. Prior to Eddie, there were a few landscaping designers who hemmed and hawed about where to pace all this stuff, and they never came up with anything. Eddie walked the yard for ten minutes, said exactly where to place it, and within a week, had preliminary plans. Eddie involved himself with every aspect of the job, working alongside the graders, pool company, and concrete company…and adapted things as necessary since stuff always needed some modifications. His price was given before the job, and no variation took place. His crew was extremely diligent, and the final product is shockingly beautiful. I’ve built buildings and done a lot of other jobs, but this guy is a stand-up guy and unique. You know he is good when all the subs, like the concrete guys and graders, now want to use him. When we decided to upgrade our yard at our little house at Bass Lake, CA we called Eddie at Lidyoff Landscape Development. Once our ideas were discussed, plans were drawn and approved. What impressed me the most working with Eddie was his passion for his work. his knowledge of plants, use of materials and creativity really shows once the physical work begins. It’s like working with an artist who’s always focussed and see’s the final result’s before completion. Everybody we worked with on the project were very professional and a delight to work with. All we could say when the project was completed was WOW!, and we are still enjoying all the compiiments on our yard today!”
When he came to our home and I explained to him what I wanted he said he would do a drawing and get back to me. After a few weeks he came back over with his plans. As soon as I saw what he drew up I knew I wanted him to do the job. He listened to everything I said I wanted and added things I didn’t even think of. His crew showed and and started the job. They were the most polite and energetic people. We were so happy with our backyard and so please to have a landscaper that puts so much pride in his work. When he worked on our waterfall I remember what a perfectionist he was about the size and placement of the rocks. After that I had to do the front yard and it too is absolutely gorgeous.
